³² Let the Messiah, the King of Israel, come down now from the stake, so we may see and believe!” Even those executed with Him were ridiculing Him.

³³ When the sixth hour had come, darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour. ^{[a] 34} At the ninth hour Yeshua cried out with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?”^[b] which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You abandoned Me?”^[c]
